With pocket 10’s, I called the blind and waited for the flop. All under cards appeared so I made a large bet. The only other player, re-raised me and pushed all in. I called and she flipped over her cards. She flopped a full house.
I got up from the table ready to end my night, until the turn showed a 10. Wow, a set, normally good, but nothing when up against a full house. Then the river. 10. Runner, runner 10’s gave me quads and the table exploded.
God pocket jacks and pocket kings with that flop, i’d be all in either way. Thats a win & a beat in the best and worst way.

In the big blind, two other players pushed me all in after I checked. The blind was a large part of my chips, so I called.
One had pocket 10’s, one had pocket King’s. I had A/2. Dominated before the flop. The flop comes, Ace, Ace, 4, giving me trips. The turn didn’t help either of them, nor did the river.
Doubled up, which gave me a stack to finish the night strong. Out of 40+ players in the tournament, I ended up in 3rd, making it into the cash.
